Don Rogers Promoted to Regional Safety Manager

Congratulations to Don Rogers on his promotion from safety supervisor to regional safety manager for the Southwest. Don succeeds John Schlichter, who will retire this summer after decades of dedicated service to CPC.

Don began his transportation career in 2002 after earning his CDL and spent 11 years as an over-the-road driver before joining CPC. He was assigned to Walgreens in Windsor, Wisconsin, where he served as both a driver and driver trainer until being promoted to safety supervisor for the Windsor fleet in 2023.

In his leadership role, Don worked closely with operations teams to strengthen and elevate the fleet’s safety culture. He helped lead the rollout of the Cheetah app for Walgreens, improving store arrival notifications for delivery drivers, and conducted man-on-the-street driver interviews focused on safety topics and awareness campaigns. Most recently, he assisted with implementing the Drivewyze system within the Windsor fleet.

Don’s commitment to continuous improvement and driver engagement contributed significantly to the Windsor fleet earning Walgreens’ Best in Class Pyramid Award in both 2024 and 2025.
