Father’s Day Shout-Outs from CPC Employees

To celebrate Father’s Day, CPC team members shared shout-outs recognizing the father figures in their lives. Thanks to all these individuals for their guidance, support and setting a positive example.

Robin Blackwell

Marketing Coordinator Robin Blackwell shared a Father’s Day message for her dad, James Berry.

“If you asked any member of my family what phrase they most associate with my father, they would all answer without hesitation: “All you got to do is…”

No matter the problem, challenge or stressful situation, that was always his response. His simple phrase was his way of reminding us that every problem has a solution, every obstacle has a path forward, and worrying rarely helps.

As I reflect on Father’s Day, I realize that one of the greatest gifts my father gave me wasn’t advice on any one situation; it was the confidence to believe that most challenges can be overcome if we stay calm, think clearly and focus on what needs to be done. Sometimes, “all you got to do is…” is exactly the perspective we need.”

Ross Merkin, a driver assigned to Walgreens in Moreno Valley, California, gave a shout-out to his dad, Harvey Merkin.

“My father dedicated his life to serve others. He worked countless hours at the office and at home to provide for his family while also taking us on many trips across the southwestern states.”

Erick Perez

Driver Erick Perez, assigned to Walgreens in Linden, New Jersey, acknowledged fathers everywhere, including his own.

“Shout out to all the amazing fathers that show up day in and day out for their families and loved ones. I’d also like to give a shout-out to my dad, who I miss very much. I know he is proud of where I stand. Love you always, Dad.”

Alexander Reyes, a driver assigned to Fegenbush in Louisville, Kentucky, highlighted Randy Scott this Father’s Day.

Abayomi Badejo

Driver Abayomi Badejo, assigned to Walgreens in Northlake, Texas, shared a message for a fatherly figure who made an impact on his life.

“He helped me get a job to take care of my children.”

Abigail Coons

Abigail Coons, a payroll clerk in Colona, Illinois, recognized her father.

“This Father’s Day, I want to honor the man I truly believe was the greatest father to ever live: my dad, John Charles Coons. My dad didn’t just meet the standard definition of a father; he completely blew past it. He was a pillar of his community, constantly looked for ways to give back and never hesitated to help anyone in need. He poured his heart into everything and everyone. I miss him every single day, but today, I’m choosing to celebrate the incredible man, father and helper he always was.”

Leilani Sagiao

Assigned to drive for Walgreens in Waxahachie, Texas, Leilani Sagiao honored his dad with a personal message.

“Happy Father’s Day to my dad and my hero, Malo Sagiao. Not a single day goes by where I don’t think about him and wish he was here. I love you, Dad. You’re always on my mind and forever in my heart.”
