Character, Diligence and Fortitude: Spotlight on Larry Hughes

CPC Regional Manager Sam Currie is shining a spotlight on the hard work and dedication of Larry Hughes, a driver assigned to Procter & Gamble in Morris, Illinois.

Larry Hughes has been part of the CPC family since the September 2022 start-up of the Procter & Gamble domicile in Morris, Illinois. Larry was one of my first hires. He has withstood the growing pains of a new start-up location and has remained professional throughout it all.

Larry is one of our top drivers at this location and has often completed special assignments, including volunteering on the longer Beaver Dam route for weeks at a time when no other driver wanted to experiment with it. Larry has traveled to other locations to lend a hand when the pool of drivers was short and needed help. He has shown true character, diligence and fortitude throughout his tenure.

His latest quest was volunteering for P&G’s Family and Friends Day. Larry was so excited that he pulled out old information from when he was in driving school and did something similar at the event. He has a passion for kids and often jokes that this is why he has so many.

Lastly, Larry is highly respected by his peers and often looked to for answers.
