CPC Regional Manager Pete Wieboldt shared the below story about Mike Morton, a CPC driver assigned to Walgreens in Denver. Mike has been with CPC and Walgreens for 20 years and is a Million Mile Award recipient.
Mike has a passion. It’s more than a hobby. It’s more than a side hustle. It’s a lifelong labor of love. Mike builds everything from drag racing and muscle cars to children’s hot rod wagons. His motto, “Tot Rods to Hot Rods,” pretty much sums it up. Each of Mike’s projects reflects not just technical skill and mastery, but also his passion for automotive culture, which includes drag racing cars built for speed, muscle cars that embody strength, and classic cars with a reverence for history.

Mike’s greatest joy comes from creating hot rod wagons for children—miniature marvels that capture the spirit of custom car building and spark excitement in young enthusiasts. Mike sees these wagons as a bridge between generations, igniting a love for cars in youngsters.

Mike’s custom machines, whether they are destined for the drag strip or a child’s driveway, celebrate both tradition and innovation, proving true craftmanship is as much about joy as it is about horsepower.
