

To celebrate Mother’s Day, CPC team members shared shout-outs recognizing the motherly figures in their lives. These messages reflect the love, appreciation and support behind the work our employees do year-round.
Ken Olsted
A driver assigned to Walgreens in Westville, Indiana, Ken Olsted gave a shout-out to three moms.
“My mother Charlotte is always there for me and so caring,” Ken said. “My mother-in-law is so kind and thoughtful. And of course, my beautiful wife is the best mom.”

Melissa Milla
Safety Supervisor Melissa Milla in Linden, New Jersey, acknowledged Alba Almonte and Gissell Santana, who are both drivers assigned to Walgreens.

Troy Oritz
Driver Troy Ortiz, assigned to Walgreens in Staten Island, New York, shared a message for his wife.
“A lovely shout-out and much love to a wonderful mother, wife and best friend,” Troy said. “Thank you for all you do, rain, sleet or snow. You’ve never missed a day. Your children and I love you and appreciate you so very much.”

Driver Khalil Adias, assigned to Walgreens in Linden, New Jersey, recognized Shifa Merie and Laila Inshassi.
Glen Coxon
A driver assigned to Walgreens in Salina, Kansas, Glen Coxon honored his mom, who recently celebrated a milestone birthday.
“My mother just celebrated her 90th birthday on April 26,” Glen said.

Driver Bill DeYoung, assigned to Walgreens in Westville, Indiana, highlighted both his parents and the impact they have had on his career.
“I started at CPC in May 2014, and I lost my dad six months later,” Bill said. “I told my mother that I found my dream job, and I promised her I would retire from here. Four months later, I lost my mother. My dad told me that if you love your job, it’s not a job; it’s what you love. I will retire from here and make my parents proud.”

Regional Manager David Flores in Rancho Cucamonga, California, celebrated his wife, Veronica Flores.
“She is my best friend and the most important woman in the world,” David said.
