When it comes to safety, CPC Logistics leads the way. CPC’s safety record is three times better than the trucking industry average as defined by the National Private Truck Council (NPTC) in its NPTC Benchmarking Survey Report.
CPC’s impressive record is due to the proactive, hands-on approach it takes to ensure the safety and compliance of drivers. Conducting regular Safety Lane Checks is one way CPC confirms that all safety protocols are being followed and understood.
During Safety Lane Checks, CPC’s dedicated safety advocates thoroughly inspect the cab, body, chassis and tires of the truck as well as the credentials, appearance and behavior of the driver. Timely topics such as the importance of hydration, winter driving, injury prevention and more are also addressed. At the end of the Safety Lane Check, participating drivers are treated to a cookout.
CPC drivers assigned to Walgreens in Waxahachie, Texas, recently participated in a Safety Lane Check and cookout.
A Safety Lane Check and cookout was also held for CPC drivers assigned to Walgreens in Houston.
Thanks to all of these drivers for their ongoing commitment to safety!
