Safety Meetings Key to CPC’s Culture

CPC Logistics’ impressive safety record, which is three times better than the industry average, is no accident. Over its 50-year history, the company has built a culture of safety that includes thousands of touchpoints with its truck drivers.

Safety meetings are an important component of CPC’s hands-on approach to ensuring its drivers are the safest on the road. Held regularly at locations across the United States, Canada and Puerto Rico, safety meetings are tailored to each customer’s fleet.

Safety meetings include presentations from safety managers and supervisors.

They provide important information to drivers, including updates on fleet safety key performance indicators as well as refreshers on timely safety tips.

Sometimes drivers get the opportunity to practice and receive coaching on injury prevention techniques and activities that help ensure their trucks are running smoothly.

During these meetings drivers are also recognized for their safety records. Safety managers and supervisors always enjoy presenting Drivers of the Month, Drivers of the Year, and Million Mile awards to honor drivers’ commitments to excellence.
