CPC Logistics employees had a lot to be thankful for this Thanksgiving. Some express their gratitude below.
As we gather around the table for our first Thanksgiving with our son, my heart swells with gratitude. Here’s to creating cherished memories and celebrating the blessings that parenthood brings. Happy Thanksgiving from our family! – William Hines, driver assigned to a large consumer packaged goods company in Browns Summit, North Carolina
I am thankful for our drivers and all that they do so diligently to make sure that the supplies they are hauling get to their destinations in a safe and timely manner. Without them, I would not have the wonderful job that I have had for over 33 years here at CPC. I am also thankful for the freedoms that we all have due to the selfless service of military men and women across the globe. I am thankful for all of God’s provision, for the love of family and the friendships He’s weaved into my life for more meaningful fulfillment. – Vienna Childers, Personnel Assistant
Cindi and I are thankful for “BIG hearts” that open our eyes to a multitude of blessings that continually surround us. – Jimmy Young, driver assigned to Walgreens in Knoxville, Tennessee
Jeff Mills is very thankful to be alive and still working. On August 4 Jeff blew a steer tire and was turned into cement barricades that were next to his lane. He then went into the ditch. He kept the truck upright as it went into the ditch. He is very thankful for his family and to be “6 feet above ground, alive and kicking!” – Contributed by Regional Manager Kevin Adams regarding driver Jeff Mills assigned to John Deere in Davenport, Iowa
I am so thankful for my two lovely and fun daughters, Rebecca and Erin. – Jim Ott, Senior Systems Engineer
The Tracy family is so grateful for veterinarians. Their knowledge and mastery brought our sick Hannah back to health! – Joan Tracy, Pension Manager
I’m thankful for the life that I have built with my family and thankful for everyone around me. I have the best job and boss I could possibly ask for! Happy Thanksgiving! – Hamza Aljamal, driver assigned to Walgreens in Pendergrass, Georgia
I am thankful for my wife, Trina Weiher, and her ability to create fun Halloween costumes for us every year. Here we are as Shrek and Fiona. – Rick Weiher, Regional Manager
I am thankful for my new addition to the family: my granddaughter. Thankful for a great boss and good friends at work. Best company ever! I pray everyone has a happy Thanksgiving. – Travis Griffin, driver assigned to Walgreens in Pendergrass, Georgia
I am thankful for my family, friends and fabulous coworkers. I am especially thankful that our dog, Huck, joined our family this year. He has brought us a lot of joy. – Leesa Sanders, Accounting Manager
I couldn’t even begin to count all my blessings. I am blessed to have an amazing wife named Cathy and a great job that turned into a wonderful career that ultimately allowed us to raise five children and share 10 grandkids. My wife and my career are forever intertwined. My previous employer was staving off bankruptcy when Cathy saw an ad for CPC. She faxed my resume to Butch Wallis (and told me afterward when I got home)! And 20+ years later, I’m still blessed by my wife and CPC! – Ken Pruitt, CTP, Division Manager
So grateful for the year of abundance our family enjoyed thanks to our father in Heaven! May the Lord bless you all! – Ignacio Medel, driver assigned to CPCLS West in Rancho Cucamonga, California
