Gerry McFadden, a CPC driver assigned to Walgreens in Perrysburg, Ohio, was preparing his truck for a trip on the Ohio Turnpike when he noticed something unusual: a fluffy gray and white kitten was lodged between two of his tires. Gerry observed that it was stuck and would not be able to make it out on its own.
Gerry called the Ohio State Highway Patrol, and several officers arrived to help. They removed the tires, secured the kitten before it was able to run away and placed it in a box without incident. Members of the Portage Animal Protective League soon arrived to pick up the animal.
