CPC Logistics Canada customer John Deere Canada was honored as one of Canada’s safest private fleets at the 2022 Private Motor Truck Council of Canada (PMTC) Awards held June 8-10 at Crowne Plaza Niagara Falls-Fallsview in Niagara Falls, Ontario.
For the ninth consecutive year, John Deere Canada won for the mid-sized fleet category. Of its 82 employees operating 56 power units and 190 trailers, 75 are professional drivers from CPC Logistics Canada. The fleet has a commercial vehicle operator’s registration (CVOR) violation rate of 3.72 percent and was involved in 1.04 accidents per 1 million kilometers last year.
Several CPC Logistics Canada team members were present to accept the award, including CPC Safety and Compliance Manager Charlie Shields, Dispatch Coordinator Scott Hannaback, Team Leader Carrie Scarselli, and Business Development Manager Leanne Drummond. John Deere Canada dispatchers Kali Trachillis and Sheri Noble were also in attendance.
