Yard Supervisor | Milan IL | John Deere

CPC Logistics Inc., a leader in transportation contract logistics services, currently has an opening for an experienced Yard Supervisor to be based in our office located in Milan, IL.

Job Functions include:

• Responsible for the oversight and management (direction, coordination, and control of activities) of the CPC drivers assigned to the John Deere Yard within the guidelines of authorized Company policies, programs, procedures, budgets, laws, and good business ethics.
• Responsible for coordinating and overseeing the scheduling of yard drivers and movement of trailers within the yard.
• Responsible for inbound and outbound coordination of paperwork.

Requirements:

• Have at least 1-3 years of Yard Management
• Possess strong problem-solving skills
• Possess good written & verbal communication skills
• Be able to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to multi-task, to be flexible, and adjust changing priorities
• Must have strong Excel and Word (Microsoft) Skills
• Must have a flexible schedule
• Must have Class A CDL license
