Payroll Clerk | Chesterfield MO  

CPC Logistics, the nation’s leader in providing truck drivers for private fleets has an immediate opening for a Payroll Clerk with experience in Chesterfield, MO. This position is located at our Main office near the intersection of Hwy 40 and Route 141.

Responsibilities include:

• Maintains payroll information by collecting, calculating and entering data
• Ensures all timecards have proper signatures and/or approvals upon submission
• Garnish wages due to Child Support, IRS, Court Orders, etc.
• Ensure that all notes and data is inputted into the payroll software
• Provides payroll information by answering questions and requests
• Resolves payroll discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information
• Maintains employee confidence and protects payroll operations by keeping information confidential
• Ensure all payroll reports are accurate and completed in a timely manner

Qualified candidates will:

• Have 2-5 years of payroll clerk experience (Transportation experience a plus!) 
• Be familiar with Microsoft Office programs
• Proficient in Excel
• State Labor Laws pertaining to wages, breaks, lunches, etc.
• DOT Hours of Service regulations
• Company policies and procedures
• Have a focus on customer service
• Have excellent problem-solving skills
