Four From CPC Logistics Named 2025 NPTC National Driver All-Stars

Four CPC Logistics truck drivers from across the United States were named National Private Truck Council (NPTC) National Driver All-Stars at the annual NPTC National Safety Conference September 4 in Orlando, Florida.

Every year NPTC National Driver All-Star awards are given to private fleet truck drivers who have demonstrated high performance standards against their peers throughout the country based on customer service, safety, adherence to company standards, regulatory compliance and community service.

During the awards ceremony the NPTC individually recognized the below CPC drivers:

  • Greg Basnight, assigned to Walgreens in Browns Summit, North Carolina
  • William Crawford, assigned to a large consumer packaged goods company in Montgomery, Alabama
  • Stuart M. Shuck, assigned to John Deere in Davenport, Iowa
  • Rene Umana, assigned to Toyota Quality Parts Express in Torrance, California

“To be named an NPTC National Driver All-Star is to reflect excellence across a rigorous set of criteria: unwavering safety records, flawless regulatory compliance, remarkable customer satisfaction and active community involvement,” said CPC Director of Safety Isaac Harmon. “Each of these four drivers has embodied these ideals consistently, elevating the reputation of CPC and the private fleet industry as a whole.”

Since the program began in 2009, the NPTC has named 118 CPC Logistics truck drivers as National Driver All-Stars, which is more than any other company in the industry. As a testament to its commitment to safety, CPC’s ranks also include 15 drivers inducted into the NPTC Driver Hall of Fame and more than 270 drivers who have driven 1 million miles or more without a preventable accident.

“Since the inception of the NPTC National Driver All-Stars program, CPC has continued to shine through the achievements of its exemplary drivers,” said CPC President John Bickel Jr. “Now, we are pleased to celebrate four more who stand out among their peers, not only for their unrivaled performance in customer service, safety compliance and professionalism but also for their dedication to serving their communities.”
