Drivers Deliver Water to Walgreens Stores Impacted by Tornadoes

Several Walgreens locations in Nebraska lost access to running water following severe weather and tornadoes that tore through the state on Friday, April 26. CPC drivers Jim Masterson and Matt Cannon, who are assigned to Walgreens in Mount Vernon, Illinois, volunteered to help by delivering loads of bottled water to the affected stores.

“They answered the call and rearranged their personal lives to make the run,” said Walgreens Director of Logistics Chris Whitehurst, CTP. “We’d like to thank Jim and Matt for being community service heroes!”
