Danny Joya, a CPC Logistics driver assigned to Walgreens in Moreno Valley, California, has retired after 20 years of service.

“Danny was a consistently safe and responsible driver, always prioritizing the well-being of others on the road,” said Safety Supervisor Tyler Hulse. “He regularly went out of his way to support his coworkers and myself, always offering guidance with patience and professionalism.”
Over the course of his career with CPC, Danny was named Driver of the Month in July 2007 and April 2016. The April 2016 issue of Tandem Talk noted:
“Danny has been accident-free and injury-free since his employment with CPC. Danny is well respected by his colleagues. No matter who calls him or when, Danny will do whatever he can to help another driver out. He serves as a driver trainer and, most recently, was asked by our customer to work in the dispatch office. There he displayed his exceptional ability in decision making and maintained a strong, professional presence.”
That same year, Danny was named Driver of the Year for CPC. In an article about this honor, Tandem Talk shared:
“He is held in high regards by his colleagues and serves as a knowledgeable resource for the new drivers. He has been called on many times to fill in for drivers calling off, running extra routes and backhauls. No matter when called upon, Danny will do whatever he can to help out another driver.”
CPC team members recently presented Danny with his Retirement Award.
“Danny is a consummate professional who has been so integral in every facet of the Moreno Valley operations, from training to dispatch,” said Operations Manager Stephen Moore. “His knowledge and skill will be missed.”
